Version 1.0 – Effective 6 March 2025
These Terms and Conditions apply to customers receiving InternetTY broadband services via an in-room router within a multi-dwelling unit (MDU). These services provide you with a private, secure Wi-Fi connection and unique login credentials, and are charged on a rolling monthly basis unless otherwise agreed at the time of order.
Please also refer to our Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and Fair Use Policy, which form part of your agreement with us.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By subscribing to and using the InternetTY MDU in-room broadband service, you confirm that you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Service Description
-
InternetTY provides you with a dedicated router installed in your individual room or apartment within an MDU building.
-
You will receive a unique Wi-Fi network name and password for your exclusive use.
-
This service is independent of any communal or building-wide internet infrastructure and is intended solely for use within your assigned unit.
3. Equipment
-
All routers and related equipment supplied remain the property of InternetTY unless explicitly sold to you.
-
You are responsible for using the equipment in accordance with its intended purpose.
-
If your service is cancelled, you may be required to return the equipment or pay a replacement charge (unless otherwise agreed).
-
Any damage caused through misuse may be chargeable.
4. Rolling Monthly Contract
-
Services are provided on a rolling 30-day basis, unless a fixed-term contract has been agreed.
- Invoices are issued no less than 7 days before your billing date and are sent by email to your registered address. It is your responsibility to ensure your contact details remain up to date and that payments are made on time.
-
You will be billed monthly in advance, and payment is due according to the payment terms outlined at the time of sign-up.
- Failure to make timely payment may result in service restriction or suspension.
5. Cancellation and Billing Policy
To ensure fair and consistent handling of billing and cancellations:
-
Termination notice must be received prior to your next billing date.
-
If notice is received on or after your billing date — including the billing date itself — your service will be terminated with immediate effect, but no refund will be provided for any charges already invoiced or paid.
-
No partial refunds will be issued for unused days if you fail to give sufficient notice.
-
You may cancel your service by contacting our support team via our Contact Page or via your online account at internetty.uk. Your cancellation will only be considered received once you have been issued with a written email confirmation from us. If you do not receive written confirmation within one working day of submitting your request, it is your responsibility to contact us to verify that we have received it. Without this confirmation, your service will be deemed to remain active and charges will continue to apply. In the event of any dispute about whether a cancellation was submitted, you may be required to provide evidence (such as an email copy or support ticket reference) to demonstrate that your cancellation request was made.
6. Service Suspension or Termination by InternetTY
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your service without notice if:
-
You fail to make payment
-
You breach our Acceptable Use Policy or any part of your Agreement
-
The service becomes unavailable due to building changes or withdrawn landlord permissions (where applicable)
7. No Refunds After Billing
To avoid misunderstanding:
-
Once an invoice is issued, and the full amount is payable.
-
No refunds, credits, or pro-rata adjustments will be offered for cancellations received too late or for unused portions of the service month.
8. Support and Fault Reporting
If you experience a fault, please contact our support team. We will guide you through basic troubleshooting steps and, if necessary, arrange a technician visit. Faults caused by building infrastructure or power supply issues may not be the responsibility of InternetTY.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
10. Version Control
